Who would of thought we would of made it this far this fast. One minute we just meeting each other, then dating, then engaged, now we are married! Time flies when you're having fun. I guess you can call 31 credits and three jobs between us, fun. We're enjoying everything that has happened to us so far. Just the other day we were thinking how much has occurred since we got married. Pictures look so much different, "Is that really what I looked like!?!" or "When was this picture taken?!" are common phrases when we see pictures.
The feeling of time flying only seems to noticed whence reviewing it from the present. I find it harder to think of the future in the present. Why is that? Does this have to do anything with numerous activities that consume our lives'? Is it because we have tendencies to not plan ahead other than education goals? Do we let things just pile into our schedule so quickly? Whatever the case be, time seems to slip when not payed attention to. Time can be found within everything. The timing of your watch on your wrist, your car engine, the music you're listening to, a relationship, a pay period, the sunlight, everything has a time! Let's take the watch for example; look at the time now. What time does it say? Is it the morning? Afternoon? Nighttime? Or is it early morning for my night-owls? :) Are you subject to the time? Are you subject to your schedule, or are you in control of it! Consider time as a gift. You are given the full reins to do what you will with this gift. You can enjoy this gift on the shelf. You can return this gift in hopes of finding something else. You can even share this gift. But the bottom-line is, you can decide what time it is...your time. Your time to shine. Your turn to finally grab ahold of this schedule of yours and decide when, where, and how you are going to what you want.
Be the person that looks back in their life and remembers how they spent it, "those were the moments I lived my life and learned how to capture what was given to me." No
shoulda-coulda-woulda's. No regrets. In the words of a certain R&B artist, "whatchu you need to do, is be thankful for the life you got. Stop looking at what you aint' got and start bein' thankful for what you do got...live your life"
